Grouse Pointing Test at Alston

The above test took place on Sunday 27th July. The judges were M Canham and S Robson.
The day was dry, sunny and very warm with a variable breeze. There appeared to be plenty of grouse with some large covey’s being seen.
On the day there were 11 Juniors and 7 Adults taking part with 5 juniors and 3 adults being graded, with one junior achieving a Very Good grading, well done.
