Welcome to the website of the German Shorthaired Pointer Association (GSPA). The GSPA was formed in 1972 by a group of breed enthusiasts.
The German Shorthaired Pointer Association exists for the purpose of combining enthusiasm and experience in the development of the breed in Great Britain. The association aims to act only in the real interests of German Shorthaired Pointers and their owners.
The Association holds various events throughout the year, Field trials, Gundog working and spring pointing tests, Open and Championship breed shows.
Tuition events on a variety of subjects are frequently in the calendar, together with other special GSP activities. This website provides information on upcoming events and how to contact the members of the Committee.

The Winter issue, with a new cover design, should now be with our members having been posted out from the printers on Friday 15th January. All members should have received a seperate mailing containing two show schedules. If you have not received either of these mailings please get in touch with the Editor of Scent or the Show secretary.
